Medical Peeling

What is Medical Peeling?

It is made by applying acids of various intensities to the upper layer of the skin. The target is to remove the old and damaged part of the upper layer of the skin and accelerate the regeneration of the skin. Although it decreases as we age under normal conditions, the upper layer of our skin renews itself approximately once a month, and the dead and old cells are replaced with new ones. The peeling of the upper layer of the skin stimulates the basement membrane and removes the damage caused by light aging. With the medical peeling method, this regeneration is accelerated and facilitated. A younger and healthier skin is achieved. The chemical agents used are AHA, AFA, TCA or phenols. The glycolic acid in its structure renews the skin in a more controlled manner.

What is the application interval and duration?

Medical peeling treatment is done by the doctor in sessions at intervals of 10-15 days, in the concentration range of 20% to 60%, it is a completely painless procedure. During the treatment, burning, stinging, redness and rarely crusting may occur on the skin. For this reason, moisturizer and sunscreen given by the doctor should be used. This task falls to the patient.
